The UKLPG Approved Autogas Installers Scheme (formerly the LPGA Approved Installer Scheme) is operated by Liquid Gas UK and is the only such scheme given official government recognition.

Consumers who have their vehicle converted by a UKLPG Approved Autogas Installer have the assurance that the installers have demonstrated their ability to undertake a safe and satisfactory installation.

Only UKLPG Approved Autogas Installers can place vehicles on the UKLPG Vehicle Register - a requirement increasingly sought by insurance companies and consumers.

UKLPG Approved Autogas Installers:

• Employ Technicians who have demonstrated competency in all current industry safety standards.

• Add converted vehicles to the central online database - The UKLPG Vehicle Register- which is the proof to insurance companies and future purchasers of the vehicle that the conversion has been completed to a safe and satisfactory standard by an approved technician.

• Have signed up to strict terms and conditions that include a random inspections.
