As with vehicle manufacturers, there are many different manufacturers of LPG conversion equipment and most installers specialise in one or a small number of makes. The makes that each approved installer is authorised to fit is shown on in the details of the installer on our website.

 

Equipment suppliers who are members of the Association sign up to a Code of Practice regarding the performance of their equipment, to provide full technical support throughout the UK and to assist customers if the installer closes. This service provides additional re-assurance to the customer regarding the quality of the LPG conversion and for which the following makes of equipment are covered:

The Association does not undertake assessments of LPG conversion equipment tand herefore we are not in a position to recommend one make of equipment over another
