Qatar’s annual liquefied petroleum gas production is expected to reach 12mn tonnes within two years giving the country a greater stake in global LPG trade flows, a senior official has said.
The country’s LPG production has now been ramped up to 6mn tons, from 2mn tons a few years ago, he said in comments published by Zawya.com.
“We see the challenge of marketing this quantity at a time when the world economy is slowing down. This is one of the key challenges Tasweeq will face in the years ahead,” he said.
