UKLPG Approved Autogas Installers
UKLPG Approved Autogas Installers is the new name and brand to look for when getting your vehicle converted to LPG autogas. It replaces what was the LPGA Approved Installer Scheme but it is much more than just a new name and brand.
The change is not just cosmetic, but also provides improvements to quality, customer reassurance, and safety standards.
The benefits of choosing a UKLPG Approved Autogas Installer for your conversion are:
-
Vehicles are added to a central online register - the UKLPG Vehilce Register - which is your proof to insurance companies and proof when you come to sell the vehicle.
-
All UKLPG Approved Autogas Installers have signed up to a Consumer Code of conduct.
-
All UKLPG Approved Autogas Technicians are inspected to ensure competency with current industry safety standards.
-
All UKLPG Approved Autogas Installers have to sign up to strict terms and conditions that include a random vehicle inspection regime and premises inpections.
-
Using a UKLPG Approved Autogas Installer provides peace of mind, knowing that there is a full complaints procedure run by UKLPG to assist you in the event of any problems.
A conversion by a non approved installer may be taken to any UKLPG Approved Autogas Installer to be checked and if satisfactory added to the UKLPG Vehicle Register. However rather than have a non approved conversion followed by a vehicle check for which remedial work may be necessary and costly, we would recommend having the conversion done by a UKLPG approved converter and get the assurance that UKLPG is behind you.
